Group Pricing & Planning
Our group packages help make planning easy! Simply choose the package that best fits your field trip needs in our Group Planning Guide and call us to make your reservation. We recommend a minimum of 3 hours to a maximum of 5 hours for your visit (with the exception of the Inquiring Minds program) to include time for lunch and travel between activities.
Chaperones meeting chaperone/student ratio requirements receive free Explorer admission (does not include program, theater or special exhibit admission). Package prices are effective for group visits taken after June 15, 2008.

Tiny Tots Group Program • School Group $5
This package is specially designed just for Preschool – Kindergarten children. It includes a program in our Kids Town Gallery and your choice of one of our young-child Dassault Systèmes Planetarium or Chrysler IMAX® Dome Theatre shows. Tiny Tots Seasonal Saver! Give little ones the chance to explore the wonders of weather and nature as they watch Kids Town change with the seasons.
Book your group for a TINY TOTS field trip for one seasonal visit and pay $5 a child. Book for two or three seasonal visits and pay $4 a child per visit. Book for all four seasons and pay only $3 a child per visit!
Explorer School Group: $6 • Adult Group: $6.95
For one low price, this package includes exploration time in our hands-on exhibit galleries, a Chrysler Science Stage show, a DTE Energy Sparks Theater presentation and a Toyota Engineering Theater show (Opens January 2009). Space reservations are required to ensure availability at selected times.
Explorer + 1 School Group: $10 • Adult Group: $11.95

Our Inquiring Minds Full-Day Program takes students on an in-depth inquiry exploration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts. The program includes hands-on exhibits, a Dassault Systèmes Planetarium show or a Chrysler IMAX® Dome Theatre film, a hands-on lesson and career exploration. Programs are designed to meet Grade Level Content Expectations for elementary, middle and high school students. Each program is designed for a full day of adventure. Programs are conducted by a science educator in one of our dynamic learning environments. Programs are subject to availability. Program is offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Capacity is 30 participants.
