April 29
Construction had started long before this picture was taken, however the Webcam wasn't on-line until the end of April. The old staff parking lot and loading dock area have been excavated, and what looks like a crater at the corner of Warren and John R is directly below where the Digital Dome Theater will be built. A retaining wall is being pounded into the ground along John R Street.

May 4
The gridwork for the footings along Warren Avenue and below the Digital Dome is in place.

May 9
The footings have been poured and covered.

May 26
The excavation for the new South Tower is underway (lower left corner). The Tower will contain a glass-enclosed elevator and stairway that will reach from the IMAX Entrance Lobby up to the Exhibit Hall.

This is the view of the southeast side of the construction area. Concrete walls have been built along the east side, but they are below the frame of the camera. Construction of the walls began on this side of the building in April. The wall was extended south to Warren Avenue at which point it made a turn to the right (west) and headed toward the area of the Digital Dome Theatre (see above photos). A large gap had to be left in the east wall to provide access for the construction vehicles.
