Give your students the ultimate experience of
art and science in one field trip with neighboring
partners The New Detroit Science Center and the
Detroit Institute of Arts.
This Detroit Cultural Center field trip adventure begins in the morning with an
hour tour of the DIA, followed by a Ford Learning Resource Center classroom
program on chemistry and art at The New Detroit Science Center and time
for exploring the Science Center's exhibit laboratories.

Tours are every Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003 - May 2004.
Detroit Institute of Arts tours begin at 9:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Classroom programs are at 11 a.m. or 12 p.m.

$8 per student - group leader and chaperones meeting 1:10
chaperone/student ratio requirements receive free general
admission (price does not include lunch, program, theater or
special exhibit admission). Groups must provide one

Please note: Groups must receive confirmation from the Detroit Institute of Arts
before making classroom program and lunch space reservations with the Science Center.
