The Events Lobby accomodates up to 175 seated guests or 350 people for strolling receptions.		Science Hall provides a unique venue for corporate events, meetings and galas.

The New Detroit Science Center is a one-of-a-kind venue in Detroit’s Cultural Center that may be rented for special events of all types: convention/corporate receptions, fund-raisers, holiday parties, cocktail receptions, business meetings, product launches, class/family reunions, and much more. Up to 2,500 guests can be accommodated in the evening, and smaller groups can use private rooms and the café during the day for business meetings, training sessions or corporate luncheons.

Evening rental rates are determined by the amount of time and space requested. Parking, Catering, IMAX^® Dome Theatre and Dassault Systèmes Planetarium shows, Science Store, DaimlerChrysler Science Stage & Sparks Theater demonstrations may be added for an additional fee.
